Fiverr earnings usually clear 14 days after an order is completed. Once available, you can choose PayPal, bank transfer through Payoneer or a Payoneer balance payout, subject to the methods offered to your account.
Check when Fiverr earnings become available
After you deliver an order, the balance is not available to withdraw right away. It moves through three stages.
Stage 1: Order completion
The buyer marks the order complete, or Fiverr completes it automatically if the buyer does not respond within a few days of delivery.
Stage 2: Pending clearance
Fiverr's order guide states that revenue becomes available 14 days after the order is completed, and seven days for Seller Plus, Top Rated and Pro Talent freelancers. Check the release date on your Earnings page.
Stage 3: Available for withdrawal
Once cleared, your earnings appear as available funds on your Earnings page. Only then can you withdraw.
In practice, a standard seller can wait more than two weeks from delivery to money in the bank once payout processing time is added. If you rely on Fiverr for monthly bills, plan for that delay.
Earnings versus Fiverr Balance: Earnings from completed orders become withdrawable after clearance. Fiverr Balance from buyer refunds or cancellations can be spent on Fiverr or refunded to the original payment method, but cannot be withdrawn as seller earnings.
Withdrawal options for Sri Lankan sellers
Open Earnings, then Manage payout methods to see the options for your account. Fiverr notes that each method may have its own location restrictions, so confirm coverage with the provider.
PayPal: Fiverr lists no withdrawal fee for PayPal, a $1 minimum and arrival within 24 hours. A Sri Lankan PayPal account can receive cross-border payments and withdraw through a partner bank, which is a recent change. Our PayPal in Sri Lanka guide covers what a personal account can and cannot do.
Bank transfer via Payoneer: The minimum is $20. Fiverr's payout overview lists a $1 fee, but its Payoneer setup guide lists $3 for local-currency bank transfers and $1 for USD wires. Local-currency transfers take one to three business days. USD wires take five to seven.
Payoneer account: A payout to your Payoneer account balance costs $3, has a $10 minimum and can take up to two business days. You can then compare a bank withdrawal with an eZ Cash cash-in.
Limits to know: The maximum is $5,000 per withdrawal. Fiverr requires a 24-hour wait after a first withdrawal and after adding or changing a payout method, and 48 hours after a verified phone-number change. Only one Payoneer payout method can be active at a time.

Step by step: three ways to cash out
Option 1: Withdraw to PayPal
Go to My Business and open Earnings.
Select Manage payout methods, Add payout method and PayPal, then complete the phone and account verification.
In the Available Funds section, click Withdraw balance and select PayPal.
Enter the amount, confirm, and enter the verification code sent to your phone.
To move the money onward, link a Sri Lankan partner bank and start the withdrawal from that bank's app, as PayPal's banking-partners page explains.
Option 2: Bank transfer via Payoneer to a Sri Lankan bank
On Earnings, select Manage payout methods, Add payout method and Bank Transfer through Payoneer. Complete phone verification and choose the payout currency.
Open the setup email and select Get started on Payoneer's page. Sign in to your own Payoneer account or register a new one.
Add your Sri Lankan bank details and wait for approval. To change the payout currency later, remove the method and add it again.
Return to Earnings, click Withdraw balance, select Bank Transfer, enter the amount, and confirm.
Option 3: Receive USD in Elevate Pay through Payoneer
Our Fiverr setup guide uses Bank Transfer through Payoneer. You need a Payoneer account to add your Elevate Pay USD bank details.
Complete the Sri Lanka account-opening process, then copy your account number, ACH routing number, bank name and account holder name from Elevate Pay.
In Fiverr, open Earnings, Manage payout methods and Add payout method. Complete phone verification and select Bank Transfer through Payoneer.
Choose USD, save the method and follow the setup email. Sign in to Payoneer and choose Add a new bank account.
Enter the bank name and receiving details exactly as shown in Elevate Pay. Choose the ACH route, not a wire, when both are offered.
Wait for Payoneer's approval and Fiverr's 24-hour security period after adding the method.
Return to Earnings, select Withdraw balance and Bank Transfer, enter the amount and review the fee and arrival date before confirming.
After the USD arrives, keep it in dollars or send rupees from Elevate Pay. Service export proceeds must reach Sri Lanka within 180 days of providing the service; see how Sri Lankan freelancers get paid. LKR transfers cost a flat $1.50 fee. The maximum is $5,000 per transfer, so a larger amount goes as more than one transfer. Contact our support team in the app for help with an incoming payment.

Account for Fiverr's seller fee
Fiverr's earnings guide states that freelancers earn 80% of the purchase amount, including Gig Extras and tips. The remaining 20% is the seller fee, before withdrawal and conversion costs. Eligible sellers can use Early Payout to skip the clearing period for a 1% fee.
Example: A $500 order leaves $400 after Fiverr's 20% seller fee. The payout method determines the next deduction.

For a Sri Lankan bank transfer, the $1–$3 fees listed in Fiverr's guidance would leave $399–$397 before conversion. Compare the final rupee amount on the withdrawal screen.
A few habits help:
Fewer, larger withdrawals can reduce repeated flat fees, if you can wait for the funds.
Keep the payout currency consistent where possible. Check for conversion at both the platform and receiving-account stages.
Compare the total LKR received after every fee.
Common Fiverr payout problems
Your balance is still pending: Check when the order was completed and whether the earnings have moved to Available. Standard clearance is usually 14 days, and the payout takes additional time.
A payout method is missing: Open Earnings and Manage payout methods. Fiverr says availability can depend on location, so confirm the method with the provider before planning around it.
A Payoneer payout is delayed: Check Payoneer approval and Fiverr's 24-hour security period after adding the method. Use the transaction reference when contacting support.
Frequently asked questions
Can I withdraw Fiverr earnings straight to a Sri Lankan mobile wallet?
Fiverr does not list a Sri Lankan wallet as a payout method. Wait until earnings clear, usually 14 days after order completion, then withdraw to a Payoneer balance if the method is offered. Why can't I withdraw my full balance?
Funds may still be clearing. Fiverr can also reserve money for a paid subscription or use earnings to repay a Cash Advance. Buyer refunds in Fiverr Balance are separate from withdrawable earnings. The withdrawal guide explains these restrictions.
