If you’re freelancing on Ontop and want to get paid via Elevate Pay, you’ll need to complete verification first. This process helps protect your account and ensures compliance with financial regulations.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the required documents step by step. Whether you’re based in Pakistan, Bangladesh, or Egypt, this article will help you upload the right files and avoid delays.

While Ontop manages your projects, clients, and payouts, Elevate Pay requires a separate verification step. Until you complete this, you won’t be able to receive payments through Elevate Pay.

What Do You Need to Provide?

To activate your Elevate Pay account, you must upload three types of documents:

  1. Proof of Income

  2. Proof of Address

  3. Proof of Identity

The type of ID may vary depending on your country, but the overall process is the same.

  • Your ID must be valid (not expired) and match your Ontop profile information.

What Is “Proof of Income” on Ontop?

When you accept work through Ontop, you’ll have either a contract or an invoice that outlines the project details and payment terms. This contract or invoice will serve as your official proof of income for Elevate Pay.

You can access and download these documents from your Ontop dashboard under the Projects → Contracts section.

Your proof of income should ideally show:

  • Your name

  • Client’s name or company

  • Agreement details (payment rate/terms)

  • Signature or approval

Bangladesh

  • Proof of Address: Bank statement or utility bill with your name and address

Egypt

  • Proof of ID: Passport
