About Elevate Pay
Elevate Pay is building global USD accounts for freelancers and remote workers in emerging markets. We help professionals in countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Egypt get paid faster, keep more of what they earn, and manage their money like global citizens.
Content is a core growth lever at Elevate Pay. Our articles educate users, build trust, and support market expansion. This role owns that system end to end.
Role Overview
This is not a task-based writing role.
As Content Lead (Editorial), you will own Elevate Pay’s article library – deciding what we publish, keeping it accurate, and ensuring it compounds over time. You’ll write, but more importantly, you’ll think, plan, and maintain the content stack.
You are expected to operate with high autonomy and strong editorial judgment.
What You’ll Own
Full ownership of Elevate Pay’s article library

USD accounts and banking basics
Product features and guides
Freelancing platforms and remote work income

High ownership mindset — treats content as a system, not tasks
Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight

Familiarity with compliance-sensitive or trust-critical content

Experience with Framer CMS
Working Style & Expectations
Delivery & Accountability
Content timelines are agreed upfront and expected to be met
If a deadline is at risk, early communication is required — not last-minute updates
Consistent missed deadlines or poor reliability will end the contract, regardless of writing quality
Editorial Standards & Use of AI
AI tools may be used for research assistance, outlining, and proofreading
Final content must demonstrate:
Original judgment
Independent reasoning
Source verification
We do not accept:
Fully AI-generated articles
Unverified claims or hallucinated facts
Writers are expected to understand and defend what they publish
Working Model & Communication
Attend a weekly sync call with the Growth team
Be available on Slack for async communication during agreed working hours
Proactively share:
Weekly content progress
Upcoming articles
Risks, blockers, or delays
Surface insights, patterns, or opportunities from content research
Compensation Structure
Base + Performance
$500/month base
$50 per published article (new content only)
This role requires consistent reliability, clear communication, and editorial ownership. Writing quality alone is not sufficient.
